CleanDNSis a domain abuse monitoring and avic foreign exchange platformcase management tool that facilitates the response, tracking, and migration of reported abuse. As the number of scams is rising, CleanDNS has decided to integrate FTI’s data feed into its abuse monitoring services to help registries, registrars and hosting companies keep cybercriminals off their platforms. CleanDNS will also support FTI by sending possible abusive domains to FTI for further analysis, such as cryptocurrency-related service providers.
Jeffrey Bedser, CEO of CleanDNS elaborates, “Abuse comes in many forms. We see the differences between phishing, malware and scams are blurring. Often the same criminal organizations are behind them. We believe FTI’s data can identify abusive activities at a very early stage as cybercriminals start with scams before moving on to even more aggressive forms of cybercrime.”
Jorij Abraham, General Manager of FTI states, “CleanDNS supports our mission in two ways. It helps us protect consumers worldwide better as registrars and registries use CleanDNS to keep their services clean from scammers. CleanDNS also has started providing us with a huge volume of suspicious domains which we can further analyze allowing us to warn consumers even before a scam site is actively promoted.”
