The recent poll comes after a challenging period for the Trump campaign, following Democratic President Joe Biden's withdrawal from the race in July. Despite these challenges, the polling data indicates that Trump's core support remains steadfast.

Voters have expressed a desire to know more about Harris, with 28% of likely voters stating they need further information on the Democratic candidate.

In contrast, only 9% of respondents felt they needed to know more about Trump, showing that opinions on the incumbent are more firmly established.

The upcoming presidential debate, scheduled for September 10, could prove to be a pivotal event.
