Recently, an investor has lodged a complaint via the FTI APP alleging that EightCap, a foreign exchange platform, experienced excessive slippage of over 11 pips beyond the set stop-loss level, ultimately resulting in a margin call and account blowout.

The complainant shared: "As a long-time client of EightCap, having traded with the platform for four to five years, I have encountered significant slippage of one or two pips on occasion, but yesterday, it was shocking to see my stop-loss triggered at a whopping 11 pips beyond my designated level. I am seeking compensation for the losses incurred in this particular trade."
