Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and Foreign electrical retailers are in a wave of bankruptcyher husband Paul made adjustments to their investment portfolio last month, according to newly filed records.
Pelosi, one of the most closely watched political figures in the investment world, purchased stocks of two semiconductor giants, Nvidia and Broadcom.
Former House Speaker specifically bought 10,000 shares of Nvidia, valued between $1 million and $5 million, and acquired 20 call options for Broadcom with a strike price of $800, expiring on June 20, 2025, also valued between $1 million and $5 million.
Since the beginning of this year, stocks of Nvidia and Broadcom have risen by 154% and 52%, respectively, mainly benefiting from the surge in artificial intelligence-related expenditures.
Meanwhile, the filings showed that the 84-year-old Pelosi reduced her stake in Tesla by selling 2,500 shares of the electric car manufacturer, with the total transaction value ranging between $250,001 and $500,000.
Pelosi also sold 2,000 shares of Visa, valued between $500,000 and $1 million.
These transactions took place between June 24 and July 1.
