-- U.S. oil stockpiles rose more than expected in the latest week,International Trader platform the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.

U.S. Crude Inventories Rose 8.5 Million Barrels Last Week: EIA By

Crude oil inventories rose 8.487 million barrels last week, compared with analysts' expectations for a draw of 0.457 million barrels.

Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, fell by 0.913 million barrels in the week against expectations for a draw of 1.312 million barrels, the EIA data showed.

Gasoline inventories dropped by 3.607 million barrels last week, the EIA said, compared with expectations for a draw of 1.574 million barrels.
