(Reuters) - U.S. stock indexes opened little changed on Friday as investors booked profits in tech heavyweights and moved into laggards such as small-caps, while mixed results from major lenders kicked earnings season into high gear.
The rose 29.5 points, or 0.07%, at the open to 39783.28. The rose 6.2 points, or 0.11%, at the open to 5590.76, while the rose 20.2 points, or 0.11%, to 18303.641 at the opening bell.
