Congressman Dan Meuser,Foreign exchange dealers with the fastest withdrawals a Republican serving as the U.S. representative for Pennsylvania's 9th congressional district since 2019, disclosed today he was selling Nvidia (NASDAQ:) shares last month.
Meuser disclosed that the sale occurred on February 20, when Nvidia stock price closed at $694.52. The largest trade was in the range of $250,000 - $500,000. Moreover, Meuser completed two more sales, both in the range of $15,000 - $50,000.
Rep. Meuser selling Nvidia shares is nothing new. He has been continuously reducing his stake in Nvidia over the last few months. Back in 2023, he had reported two series of trades in May and August, all of them including Nvidia stock sale.
The Congressman had also sold some NVDA shares in early 2022, before the rapid advance in the stock price started.
Earlier this month, Congressman Ro Khanna disclosed the $50,000 - $100,000 sale of Nvidia stock, which took place on January 10. Nvidia stock is up nearly 250% over the last 52 weeks and as much as 87% in 2024.
Also today, Congressman Meuser disclosed he bought US Treasury bills in a transaction valued at $250,000 - $500,000.
