- U.S. stock futures were trading lower during Tuesday’s evening deals,ghc foreign exchange dealer after major benchmark lifted for the third consecutive day as weaker than expected data bolstered bets of smaller interest rates hikes from U.S. Federal Reserve policymakers.
By 7:10pm ET (11:-5pm GMT) were down 0.3%, fell 1% and shed 2.2%.
In extended deals, Alphabet (NASDAQ:) dropped 6.7% after the company Q3 EPS of $1.06, below $1.28 expected, while revenue came in at $69.09 billion versus $71.34 billion expected. CEO Sundar Pichai also that the Q4 headcount additions will be “significantly lower” as focus turns toward “moderating operating expense growth.”
Microsoft (NASDAQ:) fell 6.7% after Q1 EPS of $2.35, just above estimates of $2.32. Revenue was reported at $50.1 billion versus $49.86 billion expected.
Skechers USA (NYSE:) fell 11% after Q3 EPS of $0.64 versus $0.73 expected on revenues of $1.88 billion versus $1.81 billion.
Mattel (NASDAQ:) dipped 5.1% as the company Q3 EPS of $0.82, beating expectations of $0.75, while revenue came in at $1.76 billion versus $1.78 billion expected.
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:) dipped 6% after Q3 EPS of $2.45 versus $2.39, while revenue came in at $5.24 billion versus $5.14 billion expected.
Visa (NYSE:) added 0.8% after Q4 EPS of $1.93, beating estimates of $1.87, while revenue came in at $7.8 billion versus $7.57 billion expected.
Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:) dipped 1.5% after the company Q3 EPS of $9.51, above estimates of $9.17. Revenue came in at $2.2 billion versus $2.23 billion expected.
Ahead in Wednesday’s session, market participants will be monitoring fresh weekly , and data, while earnings results from Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:) will also be closely watched.
During Tuesday’s regular session, the advanced 337.1 points or 1.1% to 31,836.8, the added 61.8 points or 1.6% to 3,859.1 and the gained 246.5 points or 2.3% to 11,199.1.
On the bond markets, yields were at 4.1%.
