When a site appears under the most searched on cptmarkets foreign exchange platform downloadFTI, we are compelled to take a look for the benefit of our users. Thus when Calcarssettlement.com appeared, we decided to dive deeply into the site. This review will analyze the site and give you all the relevant information to make an informed decision.
Calcarssettlement.com is a website that says they are the official site maintained by the Claims Administrator for Automobile Antitrust Cases I and II, JCCP Nos. 4298 and 4303, Master File No. 19-md-02878 pending in the Superior Court of the State of California, For the County of San Francisco.”
But is the site legit or not? Let’s find out.
How it all started
It is said between 1st January 2001 and 30th April 2003, major automakers conspired with each other to prevent some cars from being sold in the US. The lawsuit that followed alleged that the automakers worked to prevent closely similar, but less expensive vehicles that were being sold in Canada from being sold in the US.
Further, the lawsuit claims that by doing so, the automakers kept the prices of new cars in the US higher than they should have been. The lawsuit seeks compensation from Ford Canada under California antitrust law. Recently, Ford Canada agreed to pay $82 million to settle the lawsuit. The money will be paid to class members and will be distributed to each class model.
Who stands to benefit? Well, if you bought or leased a car or a truck between January 2001 and April 2003, you may be eligible. There are several makes that qualified to be in this class action lawsuit including; Acura, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hummer, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury, Nissan, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, Saab, Saturn, Toyota or Volvo.
To be eligible, you must also have been a resident of California as of November 15, 2010

How to go about it
If you are eligible for the $82 million class action lawsuit, you need to file a claim before December 31, 2022. You can do that online and you need to have all the supporting documents. Once you sign Section 4 of the claim form, you are verifying under penalty of perjury that the information is correct. On Calcarssettlement.com, they have provided a link that can be used to file a claim.
Bottom line
We could not find anything suspicious with Calcarssettlement.com as they seem to provide quality information about the lawsuit. They have also provided a phone number where you can reach out to them.
We also found information about the class action settlement case with reference to Calcarssettlement.com on other reliable sites like Top Class Actions and PRNewswire. There is no evidence to suggest that Calcarssettlement.com is a scam but doing your due diligence before filling your claim is advised.
